(The strong "non-negotiable" language below is the founder's own conviction, not a rule binding every Author.)

The Founder module — Author #1's system, marketplace module #1. Everyone's v1 default: shipped default-on, but deletable, forkable, replaceable. The incompressible core above it is `foundation.md` (what Alexandria *is*); this file is how the founder *does* it — his current best understanding of HOW to develop human cognition, refined by marketplace signal (see `MODULES.md` for the tiering). The Engine (fluid, per-Author) decides the specific HOW for each Author in each moment. The methodology is craft observation, not scaffolding — hand-engineered procedural rules thin as models internalise common patterns, but craft, intent, and per-Author calibration deepen. A smarter engine acts on more precise intent over time, not less of it.
