Today each company keeps its own piece of you. Your email knows one thing, your phone another, and every chat with a superintelligence starts from whatever that one app happens to remember. None of them talk to each other, and switching means leaving part of yourself behind.
When your data is yours and in one place, every tool you use can work from all of it. Several can work side by side on the same thing, and when something better arrives you simply add it. You own the one part nobody can replace, your data, and rent the best of everything else as it comes.
the gaps.
Most of this already exists. Your phone and other devices collect your data, and superintelligence can use it. A few pieces are still missing, and you can build all but one of them yourself.
Your phone, watch, and laptop capture most of your life, and the superintelligence you use can already read your files, your apps, and the web. What no company will build is the part that ties it together for you, because each would rather keep you inside its own app.
Five pieces are missing. A record of you that every superintelligence you use reads and keeps current. A way to sit down and think with it on purpose, so it develops you rather than only answering you. A one-tap way to save a thought, a post, or a screenshot from your phone. A way to share the parts of yourself you choose. And one place where everyone’s systems meet, the one piece you can’t build alone.
the blueprint.
I built those pieces for my own system, and I’ve made all of them free for everyone. Take the whole thing exactly as it is, or use it as the starting point for your own and change what you like.
It’s the system I use every day, written as plain instructions your superintelligence reads and follows. You paste one message into the superintelligence you use on your computer, and it reads the blueprint, looks at how you work today, keeps everything that already works for you, and builds only what’s missing.
Your system lives in files on your own computer that you can read, change, or delete. If a piece doesn’t suit you, drop it. If you want something different, change it. It’s yours from the first minute.
the connector.
The one piece you can’t build alone connects your system to the people in your life, so I run it for everyone. You keep it running by bringing a few friends onto it, or by paying a small fee.
Most of what you do involves other people, and your superintelligence only knows your side. When you plan something, work together, or talk something through with someone, it can use what they chose to share with you alongside what it knows about you, and theirs can do the same with you. When what they shared doesn’t have the answer, it can leave them a message, and theirs brings it up the next time they sit down.
Each person decides exactly what others can see, and access is checked every time. It only works if everyone meets in the same place, which is why nobody can build it alone and why I run it. Your own system works the same whether you connect or not.
